Let's Get You Started

 Park City Speed Miners encourage everyone with skating experience (you should be able to balance on skates and do basic crossoverss) to come speedskate with us.  


Speedskates and helmets are provided for a fee.  Long sleeves, long pants, gloves and knee pads required.  DRESS WARM, the ice rink is cold. 


We require all skaters under 7 years old to be accompanied by a parent who is comfortable on skates. 

What we need you to do first

Park City Ice Arena offers a variety of entry-level ice-skating classes designed for any person to gain the necessary basic skills to participate in a variety of ice skating activities.

Park City Ice Arena offers a "Learn to Speedskate" Class to get you safely started in the sport. Coach Nat, a three-time Olympian will get you started.

If you do not see this class listed, email Matt Genther and request a sign up form.
